Paediatric First Aid (Blended Learning) 26th January 2027 (Equivalent to Level 3)

How Blended Learning Works

Blended learning combines face-to-face practical instruction with flexible online study, allowing you to complete the course around your work and personal commitments without compromising the quality of your learning.

Part One – Practical Training
Attend one of our venues for six hours of practical, instructor-led training where you'll develop and demonstrate the essential lifesaving skills required of a Paediatric First Aider. Your Part 1 attendance certificate will be issued on the next working day.

Part Two – Flexible Online Learning
Complete approximately six hours of guided online study within two weeks of your practical session.

The online element includes structured learning materials and a multiple-choice assessment. Once the online module has been successfully completed, download your Part 2 Paediatric First Aid certificate. Both certificates will remain valid for three years from the date of the in-person training.

! Important Note on Compliance:
The online learning must be completed within two weeks of the practical session. It is the responsibility of the person attending to ensure that this deadline is met.
If you plan to be counted toward First Aid ratios, please ensure this timeframe is factored in, as staff are only fully compliant once both parts of the course have been completed and both parts of the certificate have been obtained.

You'll also receive ongoing access to our online CPD resource library together with FREE annual practical skills updates, helping you stay confident in your abilities throughout the life of your certificate.
