First Aid at Work Refresher Training 15th and 16th June 2022

This course is suitable for people aged 16+ who have previously completed a First Aid at Work course and need to renew their first aid at work qualification for another three years in order to continue to act as a first aider for their workplace.

Day 1 - 6 hours face to face practical learning in the classroom with the trainer.

• Primary Assessment Survey
• Unconscious casualty
• Casualty movement - Recovery Position
• CPR - Resuscitation
• Choking
• Fainting
• Hyperventilation
• Drowning

Day 2 - 6 hours Face to face practical learning in the classroom with the trainer

• Bleeding (minor)
• Bleeding (severe)
• Crush injury
• Internal Bleeding
• Chest injury
• Amputation
• Shock
• Head injuries
• Spinal injuries
• Fractures
• Sprains and strains
• Bone, muscle and joint injury

Our course also includes training for the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

On successful completion of the course all delegates will receive a 12 hour HSE recognised certificate, which is valid for 3 years, along with a copy of the course resources, refreshment and parking available.

Our 12-hour First Aid at Work Refresher public course is held at our exclusive venue in Guildford, and the course runs from 9.15am to 4.15pm. 

The cost of this course is £185 + VAT = £222 total per person
