Major trauma including crush injuries and suspension trauma

Management of bone and joint injuries

Hyperthermia and dehydration – remote protocols
Acute mountain sickness- HACE & HAPE
Cold-related injuries
Management of fractures
Common medical emergencies

Forestry Commission: Recent changes to Forestry Commission First Aid policy (2012) recommend those who work in the forestry industry attend training which includes additional topics relevant to the risks and nature or their work. We have produced an information sheet with more information for you to download here.
