6 Hour Emergency First Aid for Schools
The course is recommended by the Health and Safety Executive and Department of Education and Employment for low hazard environments where you are required to have a first aider on site. It follows the HSE guidelines for 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work courses:
- Unconscious casualty
- The responsibilities of the workplace First Aider
- Primary Survey
- CPR (Adult and children (under 18 yrs old)
- Shock
- Seizures
- Fainting
- Choking (Adult and child)
- Heart attacks and strokes
- Casualty secondary assessment and when to move them
- Burns
- Bleeding (Minor and severe)
- Use of the Automatic External Defibrillator
Our Emergency First Aid for Schools courses include FREE Emergency First Aid resources and FREE venue parking.
On successful completion of the course all delegates will receive a 6-hour Emergency First Aid at Work for Schools certificate via email PDF, which is valid for three years and meets the HSE requirements.
Our 6-hour Emergency First Aid for Schools public course is held at our exclusive venue in Guildford, and the course runs from 9.15am to 4.15pm. We are Covid-19 compliant, please see our social distancing policy here.
The cost of this course is £168 including VAT, parking, certificates and resources, total per person.
