Emergency First Aid at Work (Plus optional Forestry) (Level 2) 10th January 2023

Our 1-day course is delivered by our expert trainers and includes course resources, access to free skills update every year and a HSE approved certificate which is valid for three years.

Course Content:

• Adult resuscitation (CPR)
• Burns and scalds
• Choking adult
• Communication and casualty care
• The use of a Defibrillator in the chain of survival
• Minor and severe bleeding
• Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
• Seizures and managing a fit
• Shock (including anaphylactic shock)
• Manging an unresponsive patient

For those requiring the additional content required by the Forestry Commission, this will also include:

• Chainsaw injuries
• Lyme’s Disease
• Crush injuries
